Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are a respected rights management organization in search of a skilled Business Development Manager to spearhead the pursuit of new business leads for our business expansion. This role demands active collaboration across teams and requires outstanding interpersonal skills. The Business Development Manager will craft compelling new business proposals and presentations that effectively showcase the organization’s products and services. He/she will play a crucial role in contributing to the organization’s sales and financial growth by acquiring new customers and developing entertainment-related products and services. The incumbent should possess the ability to generate innovative ideas to attract new clients and keep senior management informed about marketplace and competitor activities.

 

Note: In-depth knowledge of the entertainment industry and its current events is a must-have.


Requirements:

 

– A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field.  

– Certification in a music business program.  

– Proficiency in data analysis and market research.  

– Minimum of 4 years of experience as a business development/marketing consultant or in a similar role within the education industry.  

– In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and best practices.  

– Proficient in MS Office Packages/Working knowledge of IT and marketing software.  

– Ability to provide effective leadership to a large team of salespeople.  

– Strong communication and IT fluency.  

– Ability to write proposals and reports creatively and effectively.  

– Strategic and analytical thinking abilities.  

– Strong presentation and problem-solving skills.  

– In-depth knowledge of the education industry and its current events.  

– Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

– Develop growth, marketing, customer acquisition, and retention strategies for organizational gain and customer satisfaction.  

– Conduct market research to identify new markets, customer needs, and valuable opportunities.  

– Conduct business meetings with current and prospective partners/clients, building long-term relationships on behalf of the company.  

– Promote the company’s products/services, addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.  

– Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales contracts, ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.  

– Accurately document and maintain the company’s records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.  

– Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.  

– Give timely, accurate reports on performances and client’s needs to the management.  

– Spearhead business development tasks, train entry-level staff into valuable salespeople when required, and supervise the marketing team.  

– Work efficiently to achieve our organization’s goals.  

– Collaborate seamlessly with other members of the company.
